The Guidelines provide a brief background and overview of the technology, data on scientific validity of the approaches used for development of the exohand robotic system as well as the results of clinical trials (foreign and domestic) estimating efficiency of applying the technology for patient rehabilitation. The guidelines include the detailed methodical recommendations on introduction and use of the technology in clinical practice for healthcare providers offering rehabilitation services to patients with focal neurologic motor deficits after stroke or brain injury. The guidelines are intended for healthcare professionals involved in application of motor-imagery-based brain-computer interface (BCI)-controlled hand exoskeleton.
